Front and centre, the biggest threat of our times and hotly debated on the political stage, climate change brings with it a whole host of risks.
Founded in 1947, Milliman is an independent company with offices in major cities around the globe and is among the world’s largest providers of actuarial and related products and services to many industries.
The company wanted to address the challenges posed by climate change and discuss the consequences and solutions available.
The Milliman Climate Resilience Forum was developed by The Croc’s Podium team, creating an innovative format for industry experts to come together to discuss and debate the biggest issue of our time, and create a conversation that extended long after the live event was over.

Running the event virtually gave us the opportunity to bring a truly global audience together without the logistical constraints of a physical summit or conference.
We assembled a strong line-up of headline speakers including the World Bank, Bank of England, Insurance Development Forum, AXA, and Insurance Commissioners. And through our comprehensive and detailed promotional content, the event was fully booked in a matter of days with a total of 1,773 registrations and 1,018 unique attendees joining on the day.
A resounding success and industry first for Milliman, the event generated hundreds of responses and questions, fuelling greater knowledge of this critical subject and firmly placing Milliman on the map as an established authority on Climate Resilience.
"It was great working with Podium on this end-to-end event. They were able to help us refine our agenda, recruit a strong speaker facility and build out a highly customized event platform to ensure our goals were exceeded, and event metrics achieved. The team were extremely professional and became an extension of our team. A big thanks and congratulations to all involved."
