Global storage technology giant EMC provides a diverse range of information management solutions across multiple vertical markets – including for the Oil and Gas industry. EMC’s challenge to The Crocodile has been to rationalise EMC’s extensive end to end offering in a visually engaging and simple to understand way that could be used to build interest and opportunities at live events.

Our solution has been to create an iPad App that event staff can use to initiate conversations at events and quickly demonstrate the breadth of offering EMC has within the sector to multiple audience types. The solution is visual, engaging and neatly rationalises what is a pretty complex, multi-layered offering.

To accompany the iPad App we have also provided EMC with an event video – used as a showcase on the stand – that helps elevate the stand experience and create a coherent and dynamic offering to attendees.

The solution has proved to be a hit at the major European Oil & Gas event in Vienna – EAGE 2011 – with EMC sales people requesting duplication of this model into other vertical business sectors.
