A new research report has gone live on DesignTalks, the online design and manufacturing community run by The Crocodile on behalf of SolidWorks. Based largely on an online survey conducted in the summer, the DesignTalks CAD usage report 2008 looks into the growing use and influence of 3D software in UK design and engineering offices.
The report is a culmination of several months of work drawing on many of The Crocodile core skills, including strategy, online development and design, project management, PR, research and analysis, SEM and copywriting. The report itself will be not only a valuable document in its own right but also a powerful PR vehicle for attracting more new members to the growing DesignTalks community.
