What's new?
The mouse that roared.
July 2008
It's been quite a month for coverage for 3Dconnexion, one of our star PR clients. Having orignially been charged with generating interest for the company's range of 3D mice among professional UK users of 3D software, the campaign opened up dramatically a little over a year ago when 3Dconnexion (part of the Logitech group) launched a product that would appeal to a consumer market increasingly keen on 3D software such as Google Earth and Second Life. That, and an expansion into some key European territories, has meant account manager Robyn Pierce has really had her work cut out, fielding requests from a diverse range of business and consumer magazines, blogs and other lifestyle and tech media, seeking out new opportunities all the time and sending out countless review units to all corners of the continent.
Robyn's hard work has really paid off, though, and last month was the best month for 3Dconnexion coverage yet. Highlights included reviews in City AM, the popular London business paper, The Sunday Post, Scotland's premier Sunday paper, Stuff magazine, Voyager, the BMI in-flight magazine and the Daily Express. Importantly, this has not come at the expense of B2B campaign, with product news and review this month in (among others) NewDesign and AEC Magazine. And she claims there's plenty more where that came from...
