Ongoing success for The Crocodile in creative IT space

May 2009

The Crocodile is celebrating ongoing success in the creative IT space, having signed two new clients and extended its engagement with several of its existing clients in this specialist sector. Successful back-to-back wins with ArtVPS and dezineforce have consolidated The Crocodile’s position as an acknowledged expert in this sector, with clients from across the computer-aided design and engineering spectrum, and once again demonstrate the agency’s ability to get to grips with the kind of complex propositions that characterise the business-to-business IT channel.

ArtVPS is a Cambridge-based developer of 3D rendering technology, previously known for its dedicated rendering hardware but in the process of reinventing itself as a software company. The Crocodile has been appointed to design and deliver a new website and online strategy and to oversee public relations during the launch of its new interactive rendering software solution, Shaderlight.

dezineforce is a new company offering computer-aided engineering and design optimisation on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis. The Crocodile is being retained for PR during the launch of the service and is also fulfilling a broader strategic marketing consultancy function.

Among its existing client base, The Crocodile has signed a new contract with Tata Technologies, the international product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions and services provider. The Crocodile has also played a significant role in the global launch of a new high-end 3D mouse for use in the creative sector from 3Dconnexion, part of the Logitech group. Finally, DesignTalks, the online community for UK design and manufacturing that The Crocodile has developed on behalf of leading CAD developer SolidWorks, is about to benefit from a new marketing project designed to promote a members’ image gallery recently completed by The Crocodile’s web team.

“At The Crocodile we pride ourselves on our ability to understand complex technology and business propositions, and to design and deliver cost-effective marketing solutions that will cut through that complexity and deliver tangible results,” says Adam Wooff, co-founder and managing director of The Crocodile. “No area of our client base illustrates this more clearly than the creative IT space, where we’ve always enjoyed success and where we have made a bit of a name for ourselves. The fact that we have picked up significant new business during a period when many are struggling is testament to the strength in depth of the team here at The Crocodile.”
